Villa Augustyn in Sovalye, an idyllic getaway

A stunning villa.  Beautiful furnishings.  Quite frankly, we were lost for words.  Villa Augustyn is truly magical and should be kept a secret.  By day, we would either swim in the infinity pool or from the private jetty into the wonderfully warm sea.  We would watch the amazing sunsets from any of the many terraces.  It was the most perfect private viewing.  Every evening.

The fact that the villa can only be accessed by boat intensified the sense of being completely removed from everyday hectic city life.  Heaven.

The island has no road, so no cars.  It is beautifully tranquil with ancient Byzantine ruins scattered amongst the trees.  You can even see the footings of ancient dwellings in the shallow waters by the jetty of the villa.  Incredible.

We highly, albeit reluctantly, recommend Villa Augustyn on Sovalye Island.  A rare find.
