Description:

Outstanding Villa in Sovalye Island, Fethiye to rent, right at the seafront with private boat mooring facility, infinity pool and separate entertainment floor. Welcome to Villa Serenity, sitting comfortably on Sovalye Island in the bay of Fethiye along the turquoise coast. The villa is positioned with commanding views of both the mainland’s spectacular mountains and idyllic views of neighbouring islands. From the moment you awaken to the breathtaking sunrise over Fethiye, you are mesmerised by the many colours filtering into the dramatic skies. Begin your day with the aroma of tea or coffee stimulating the senses whilst sitting on the various terraces provided, looking out and beyond at the developing sunrise.

The villa is rented out at £3,500 per week up to 5 guests and £250 for each additional guest up to a maximum of 10. Rental fee includes airport transfers to/from Dalaman airport, twice a day complimentary boat service to / from Fethiye mainland, a welcome basket and also services of our dedicated island representative should you require assistance with any arrangements such as sailing trips, shopping trips, etc.

The villa is designed with an extravagant Penthouse suite in the prime elevated position at the top of the house affording guests to be almost self contained, as it incorporates a super king-sized posturepedic bed, using the highest quality cottons and linen. There is more than enough space to accommodate the two sumptuous suede settees with accompanying black wood purpose made furniture. The cusioned day bed situated on the front terrace looking out to sea offers total privacy....

The suite is naturally well lit from all elevations by large doors and windows. By night, there are several lighting combinations to suite every mood. The en suite bathroom provides luxurious bathing in the large Jacuzzi bath with jets of soothing water. His and Hers basins are incorporated within a marbled top vanity unit, providing space for all those essentials. Should you prefer a refreshing shower, then the view from the porthole window looking out to Fethiye and the mountains beyond provide an inspiring backdrop.

This suite provides two contrasting living terraces. One overlooks the lee of the island and the sheltered waters between the island and the town of Fethiye its marinas, boatyard and ancient fort above all encircled by mountains. Sitting comfortably in the handmade armchairs enjoying the morning sunrise unfold. The undisturbed state of composure and calmness cannot be ignored! Truly Serene!

Whilst the larger terrace (approx 400sq ft) is accessed via one of the two double sliding doors looks out upon panoramic sea views directly towards the other eleven uninhabited “Islands of Fethiye” The first of which is Red island, it appears within touching distance but are in fact over five miles away. Your eyes will also be drawn to the mainland and the deep layers of mountains unfolding before you. A Truly breathtaking view.

Immediately below is the jetty and the clear outline of ancient buildings, some dating back to the Lycian era can be seen through the crystal clear waters. Whether by day or by night the views are truly spectacular and memorable. Lying on the large outside bed, whether viewing early morning fishermen or the stars at night from this totally private position, there is definitely an absence of mental stress or anxiety here.

Stepping down the light and airy marble staircase with double storey tinted windows you come to the first floor which has been divided into three large double bedrooms, each with a walk in luxurious en-suit. The ten ft high ceilings, the uncluttered room with large floor space (approx 300sqft) provide a sense of spaciousness and openness rarely found. The highest quality of fabrics and linen has been used.
King sized double posturepedic beds, light coloured fitted wardrobes, dressing tables, mirrors and bedside furniture to all bedrooms. The large full sized bathrooms each consist of a fixed screened walk in shower, toilet and wash hand basin with marble topped vanity unit. Ceramic tiling to walls and floor with feature porthole windows.

Stepping through the almost full room width sliding double doors out onto the balcony, two comfortable arm chairs with table are provided to enjoy the same magnificent views that are laid out before you. The rear bedroom not only has a balcony but a sheltered terrace overlooking the bay of Fethiye. This bedroom also has a bath and shower in contrast to the walk in shower room.

Marble staircase with decorative ironwork balustrade leads to the ground floor. The large front door opens onto the hallway leading to the main light and spacious split level open plan living area. The large modern kitchen consists of numerous white high gloss units with black granite worktops, double inset sinks with window over, built in dishwasher, oven, microwave combination oven, black ceramic hob with stainless steel extract hood and large fridge freezer. All have all been designed and fitted with ease and convenience in mind. There is also a glass topped table and chairs in the unlikely event guests will not want to dine on the terrace.

Descend three steps to the extravagantly appointed, restful lounge area (500sq ft), two large L Shaped settees, more than able to seat eight people in comfort whilst overlooking the spectacular views of the bay. There are additional tables of varying size, also a feature stone fire place should the need for more heat arise. The high ceiling with its down lit bulkheads and hanging glass chandelier set within the elliptically shaped feature ceiling, only adding to the undisturbed state of coolness and composure.

Almost full width nine ft high sliding doors not only provide light to the lounge but afford access to the magnificent covered terrace approx 300sq ft .Making this a wonderful space to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. You cannot help be mesmerised by the panoramic views whilst seated at the handmade cream rosewood table and chairs provided that can easily accommodate up to ten diners.

Off the hallway there is another full sized bathroom with walk in shower toilet and wash band basin vanity unit. A full functioning utility room with washing machine base units, sink, and cupboards for vacuum cleaner, ironing board, cleaning equipment etc is also provided.

As everywhere throughout Serenity the living spaces, terraces, balconies and pool areas all have cooling Travertine floors , terraces and balconies also are defined by chromed steel and lightly blue tinted safety glazed balustrade, creating a lightness and clarity which adds to the state of stillness, calm and tranquillity that Serenity is.

Double wooden doors lead to large bar / entertainment area has been created in white glossy units, double sink, with black granite tops and chrome foot rail, over bar down lit bulkhead, fridge, modern black and white bar stools, Great for daytime drinks or evening parties. The entertainment room also has a competition standard table-tennis table with rackets and balls provided of course...

The almost full width sliding doors allow plenty of light to the whole room and provide access to the covered pool terrace and Infinity pool 300 sqft which sits prominently outside. Flanked by travertine terraces this idyllic pool provides a cool retreat for when it all gets a little hot. At night, the blue underwater lighting creates a wonderfully calm, cool and composed atmosphere.

There is a hand built BBQ with chimney, an outside shower and steps down both sides of the infinity pool, leading to The Larchwood decking area (800sqft). This provides an ideal location for the eight Rattan sun loungers with cream cushions, and large free standing Parasol. Not only can quests take advantage of the sunny southerly aspect but also feel within touching distance of the blue waters and Kizilada (red) island.

Sun shelter and tranquillity is provided by a large attractive Pagoda area dressed in cream linens. Ancient reclaimed Oak has been fashioned into a large heavy table and benches, ideal for alfresco meals and bbq’s. Also a seating area has been created to provide a comfortable large L shaped Rattan couch which can accommodate a family, whilst either reading a book with a cooling drink or watch the numerous craft sail by or the ideal spot to catch the magnificent almost magical sunsets that this island is famous for.

There are a wide selection of established vegetation in numerous beds from the private courtyard, which in late summer becomes a lovely early morning sun trap, where you enter the villa from the Fethiye facing jetty, through to the landscaped terraced gardens that cascade down to the water’s edge. You will notice a hammock set amongst a collection of small fruit trees. The various terraced gardens are well stocked with plants and shrubs and allow numerous quite retreats for those of a solitary nature.

Arriving at the main jetty toward Kizilada and the open sea, which doubles as boat dock and a great swimming and snorkelling platform, it is from here you really appreciate Serenity. Its white fluted columns and walls set off by the abundance of blue tinted solar reflective glazing, mirroring the crystal waters.
